BIOMECHANICAL & ORTHOTICS

We offer a full biomechanical foot assessment.  This includes an assessment of the muscles, joints and ligaments of the foot and leg as well as walking styles and footwear.  We can then offer a range of treatment solutions.  If required orthoses can be supplied.

On average, foot pain affects 1 in 5 people in the general community. At Randwick podiatry we can diagnose and tailor a treatment and rehabilitation plan to suit your condition.

DIABETIC FOOT MANAGEMENT

The feet are often initially affected by diabetes.  Initial assessment upon diagnosis can provide a baseline record of your foot health.  Furthermore, regular assessment can lead to early detection and treatment which has been shown to prevent future diabetic foot complications.  Medicare now offers up to five podiatrist appointments through the Enhanced Primary Care Plan (EPC) initiative.  Visit your GP to see if you are eligible for Podiatry treatment under this care plan.
