PRIVATE HEALTH FUND
Most private health funds in Australia will cover podiatry. We suggest you check your particular policy, as rebates may vary. Using the HICAPS online system, your claim can be processed at the time of treatment. This way you only have the balance or “gap” to pay.
MEDICARE
Some people with specific medical problems may be eligible for medicare rebates. Some examples are patients with diabetes and chronic plantar fasciitis. A referral from a GP is necessary for up to 5 visits per year. Please contact this clinic to enquire if you may be eligible.
VETERANS’ AFFAIRS
All veterans with a gold card can receive podiatry treatment free of charge. However, a referral from your doctor is required.
REFERRALS
We welcome referrals from doctors and allied health professionals. However you do not need a referral to come for an appointment.
